People have been arguing over whether pineapple belongs on pizza for decades - but now a new topping is sending many into a spiral. A tourist visiting Denmark has caused a stir on social media after sharing a picture of kiwi on pizza, leaving some feeling 'sick' to their stomachs.

In response, one Italian man said: "The Italian blood in me is boiling, whoever made this you've mama'd your last Mia." Another outraged Reddit user said: "I can see where the flavor of kiwi could pair really well with marinara and cheese, however, this looks like evil biblical pizza and that's a nope from me."

A third said: "Come on man, I could give pineapple a pass but what the hell is this, the only thing worse than this is the chocolate pizza." However, others urged people to try it before judging it, with one saying: "Why you gotta yuck someone else's yum? Don't like it, don't eat it!"

Another user said: "I had a kiwi, bacon, and Oscypek large pizza in Poland. It was delicious" One more added: "In all seriousness, it probably tastes similar to pineapple on pizza, but they could have at least cut the kiwi up more."

Wanting to give it a go, another user simply said: "Honestly I would try a slice just for the hell of it." While another agreed: "Hmm, I can't judge until I tried it, now to find a pizza place willing to do this without getting killed."

It comes after etiquette coach Director at The English Manner, William Hanson, shared the 'correct' way to eat pizza. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, the expert confirmed that pizzas were "designed to be eaten with hands - clean hands, of course". He added: "Each slice is picked up and folded inwards. If the slice becomes a bit floppy, you can use your other hand to support it."
