A new year is filled with new possibilities, and many people will be curious to know how 2024 has in store for them.

With ten months left of the year, people will be hoping that fortune will shine upon them for the rest of 2024 - but TikTok guru Mia Yilin has said your fate depends on what you first see in a 'creepy' optical illusion. It will say a lot about whether you're going to experience luck for the rest of the year, or whether you're still persevering after a tough 2023.

She encouraged people to look at the image, which contains an eye, inside an oyster - but which is the luckier charm?

"What's the first thing you see in this picture?", Mia asked. "If you first saw the eye, then starting from now, everything is going to work out for you. The universe is actively shifting to make sure that you get the best outcome in whatever situation you're in. All you need to do is make sure that you're ready to receive it."

However, it's different news if you saw the oyster first. Mia explained: "If you first saw the oyster, then the past year was the most difficult one for you yet. Even so, you bravely persevered through it all and are still standing. You will be rewarded for your determination and endless hard work. Everything you've ever dreamed of will be yours soon."

In the comments, many people said that they'd seen the eye first, and they hoped it was true. One penned: "I saw the eye and hopefully you're right!" with another sharing: "Eye and I'm ready." "I saw both at the same time", someone else admitted to the content creator.
