Easter prep is well and truly underway and now eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted an incredibly large egg addition to shelves, courtesy of Kinder.
Part of the Easter fun for kids and adults alike is getting lots of tasty chocolate treats, and being able to eat them totally guilt-free. Kevin and Kieran D'Arcy took to TikTok on their @thedarcytwins page to share an Easter treat that they'd spotted on the shelf in Costco. And while it does seem pricey, there's a hidden reason that might make it seem worth it.
In the video, they shared that "gigantic Kinder eggs do exist, and you can pick them up in Costco" - and it'll set you back £18. The shopper dubbed it "extortionate", but then they popped a standard-size Kinder egg next to the huge one to show the size difference, hyping up the way the delicious chocolatey treat tastes.
"This bad boy comes with plenty of chocolate for you to eat", the twins explained, saying "It makes the standard one look even tinier." They then revealed that the Kinder eggs come with a "wee surprise" inside. In the huge egg, there's a "full-scale action figure", making the Easter treat perfect for kids.
Someone claimed that they were "in Co-Op for £12", but other social media users were quick to correct the woman, as the ones sold in Costco are 320g, whereas Co-Op ones only come in at 220g - so you're getting less of the tasty Kinder chocolate.
'I don't want children staying up late at weekends - I really need adult time'One mum said that she would get some "serious brownie points" with her son, joking that "yes he's 19 but I'm 'that mum'." "So good", a TikTok user gushed, with someone else saying: "I'm going now!"
