The PS Plus February 2024 Essential games lineup is set to be revealed later this week. Here's the exact time you'll be able to find out what games are joining Foamstars in this month's offering.
PS Plus subscribers are in for a good month already, as – in an unconventional move – we already know ahead of time what the first game in the PS Plus February 2024 Essential games lineup is. Square Enix's new multiplayer sud 'em up Foamstars was confirmed to be launching on PS Plus as a day one release a few weeks back (at the same time as our Foamstars preview ), and its arrival on Sony's subscription service should hopefully save it from the obscurity we see most new multiplayer games fall into.
Dodgy use of AI artwork aside, I enjoyed from what I played back at Gamescom, Foamstars is a shockingly fun time. It's fast paced gameplay and unique style make it one of the better new entries in the extremely crowded multiplayer space, plus it's miles ahead of other recent attempts at the hero-shooter style like PlayStation's own Destruction AllStars.
But Foamstars won't be the only game coming in the PS Plus February 2024 Essential games lineup; we still have two more games to join it. Based on the PS Plus Essential February 2023 games – which included OlliOlli World which released in February 2022 – we're predicting that Tetris Effect Connected or Octopath Traveler 2 could be arriving (considering they released on PS5 in February 2023) Here's when we'll find out the other games are.
PS Plus February 2024 Essential reveal time
The PS Plus Essential games lineup is always announced on the final Wednesday of the month (or the first, in the rare event that the month starts on a Wednesday). This means that the PS Plus February 2024Essentialgames will be announced on Wednesday, January 31 at the usual time of 4.30pm GMT / 12:30pm EST / 9:30am PST.

The games which are announced for PS Plus Essential later this week will become available to download for subscribers next Tuesday, February 6. These will remain available to download until the next batch of games arrives. Based on the usual schedule, we're expecting this to be on Tuesday, March 5.
As for PS Plus Extra and Premium, you'll need to wait until Wednesday, February 14 to find out which games will be arriving on those tiers. With the games dropping the following week on Tuesday, February 20.
