A restaurant owner was left in stitches after receiving a hilarious request from a customer who was meant to be on a diet.
Getting a takeaway is a nice treat every once in a while, but it's always hard to curb fast-food cravings when you're trying to eat healthily. Nothing is more satisfying than placing your order, and sitting back to relax while your food gets delivered to your door.
It seems as though this diner was fed up of munching on lettuce leaves and decided to treat themselves to one of their favourite takeaways - Munchies Eston in Middlesborough - despite being on a diet.

The restaurant owner made sure the customer's wishes were obeyed (Jam Press/@munchies_eston)Owner Waseem Banaras was working in the restaurant when he received a special request from the sneaky customer who left him in hysterics when he read the relatable note on the order. The customer had asked the driver: "Knock quietly, I'm supposed to be on a diet."
The reciept made it clear it was cheat day as they ordered a Texas BBQ pizza, a double chocolate ice cream waffle with chocolate sauce and a Dr. Pepper drink.

"I found it hilarious, it felt like something we would all do!" Waseem, from Middlesbrough said, and added: "I wanted to share the receipt on social media straight away!"
He then clarified that the customers wishes were met, as he ensured the delivery driver did as they were asked and tiptoed to the customers door so the restaurant didn't "betray the customer's trust".
Waseem explained: "The delivery driver definitely did follow the request. We couldn't possibly betray the customer's trust. The order came in on the 11th of December – a diet may have been enforced if he'd been caught."
The post, which then went viral, racked up over 110,000 likes and over 500 comments, all with people admitting they would also do the same. One person wrote: "That's exactly something I'd order if I was on a diet. Everything sounds soooo good lol," while another fan added: "Shh don't tell my kids."
A third validated the customer and said: "A cheat day is needed every now and then stay strong," as a fourth chimed: "It's just between us.
