Call of Duty Warzone 2 players have discovered that in certain parts of the Al Mazrah map, driving a truck into the water results, not in death, but rather, a new super vehicle capable of traversing the seabed, ready to pop out when least expected.

Warzone 2 has been well-traversed by millions of players in the weeks since its launch, and it seems like everybody is hunting high and low for anything to amuse themselves with, as they wait for Season 2 to drop in the near future. Initially discovered and posted to Reddit by The-Weasel, you can see the bug in full effect in the video below.

This Warzone 2 glitch involves finding one of several of the wetter spots on the map to go for a little dive – with a truck.

Where we're going we don't need roads

Ordinarily, this fool’s errand would see you quickly drown and dreams of winning the battle quickly dissipate. But it turns out that there are certain areas on the map where this obviously desired effect fails to kick in and you can drive along under the water pretty much undetected until you emerge on the other side, all guns blazing.

What seems to be happening is that, rather than taking the expected damage, the truck cabin appears to be offering protection, allowing unlimited driving, even if you may emerge smelling a bit on the fishy side. The glitch only seems to work with the truck and following on from The-Weasel's initial discovery, several other locations where it works have been found by eager players.

Mini submarines or any underwater propeller would be a fine addition to any Warzone 2 map in my humble opinion. There’s nothing quite like the surprise of leaping out of the water unexpectedly to shock a rival team. Until we get those, we will have to hope that this one doesn’t get patched out too quickly, so we can see how many places there are on the map where you can pull off the submarine truck trick.

With news leaking out that Warzone 2 is likely to get a Resurgence map mode with the arrival of Season 2 as well as an over-zealous anti-cheat issue that has been catching out some of the better players, it has been a newsworthy few days for the game as it heads towards the end of its first season.

We are sure Season 2 will bring its own fair share of bugs and glitches for us all to enjoy.
