PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will find out what games are arriving on the service this week. Here's when, and what we think we'll see.

PS Plus hasn't exactly been great since the PS Plus price increase back in September. While you would expect the selection to get better after a price increase, if anything it's gotten worse. So let's hope Sony can turn it around before the end of the year with the PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 games. Subscribers are already able to download the PS Plus Essential December 2023 games which include Sable, Lego 2K Drive, and PowerWash Simulator.

As always, we won't know for sure what's to come until Sony officially announces which PS4 and PS5 games are coming to the two upgraded PS Plus tiers later this week. So here's when you'll be able to find out, and some games we think have a pretty good chance of appearing in the PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 lineup.

PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 reveal time

The PS Plus Extra and Premium titles are typically revealed the Wednesday following the release of the PS Plus Essential games each month. So, bearing that in mind, the PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 reveal time is set for Wednesday, December 13 at4.30pm GMT / 11:30pm EST / 8:30am PST.

The games will be announced via a post on the PlayStation Blog detailing all of the games coming to both tiers.

PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 predictions

Unlike the PS Plus Essential tier, which always includes three games available to all subscribers, predicting what games will join the PS Plus Extra and Premium is always a tad more unpredictable. Fortunately, this month's guesses are a tad more informed.

Okay, we're cheating a little by calling these 'predictions', as just like last month Gematsu has reported on Twitter that the Taiwan ratings board has rated the PS1's Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and the PSP's Thrillville and, Thrillville: Off the Rails for PS4 and PS5. Considering this happened last month with Disney Pixar's UP arriving after being rated, we're almost certain that these will arrive this month.

December 2022's PS Plus Extra offering featured several Like a Dragon games, so we're going to throw out a prediction for Like a Dragon: Ishin! to join PS Plus this month.
