Brits are demanding that their "favourite biscuit of all time" is brought back into existence.
McVitie's Fruit Club biscuits have not been on shelves for a long time, but they have not been forgotten. People have been clamoring for the biscuit business to bring back the bar from their childhood.
Recently one fan demanded answers on social media, with one tweeting: "Why on earth have you stopped making Fruit Clubs? My favourite biccy of all time. What flavours are still being made?”
The company replied: “Hi there from Team McVitie's. Unfortunately, these were discontinued a few years ago. I can confirm that the club flavours are now orange, mint and salted caramel.”
Others then interjected, with one person tweeting: “Bring back the fruit clubs!!” Another added: “The fruit Club was one of the best biscuits out there in my opinion.”

They were previously on shelves as a limited edition item in 2005, and are the same as the classic digestive base but simply covered in a layer of white chocolate. The biscuits giant unveiled its brand new chocolate digestive flavour to commemorate the 100th anniversary of McVities milk chocolate digestives - which fans called a "dream come true".
Additionally, in May, Happy Faces biscuits - previously axed in 2015 - were found on the shelves. The biscuits are filled with jam and cream and have smiley faces on top. They cost just £1 per pack. In the mean time, shoppers have been thrilled as Muller has brought back its much-loved Mississippi Mud Pie Corner flavour.
Cadbury has also re-released a previously discontinued product, which was previously spotted on supermarket shelves ten years ago. Now shoppers are going crazy.
Most recently, Quality Street brought back a discontinued fan favourite, however shoppers have mixed opinions about it.
