London's crazy property market shows no sign of slowing with a cramped studio flat hitting the market for £850 a month - and you’ll need to share a bathroom with strangers. Renters have long found it difficult to find a bargain in the capital for anything less than £1,000pcm.

Advertised as a "double bedsit" pad in Tottenham, the flat is fitted with an oven, hobs, kitchen sink and tiny counter space to prep food. But there isn't room for a sofa and tenants will have to share the bathroom and garden.

While the property might be considered a steal in the capital, being forced to share the loo and shower with other strangers in the building might not be to everyone's taste.

Upon entering the cramped pad, future residents walk straight into the small kitchen area. Bizarrely, there appears to be a bathroom sink in the middle of the kitchen. Wedged against the front door is a double bed and mattress.

But this takes up so much of the living area, there is only enough space left for a small set of drawers and a tiny wardrobe. There isn’t even enough room for a sofa or dining table.

On the plus side, the monthly £850 price includes all bills such as council tax, water, gas and electric – but tenants must fork out an extra £930 for a deposit.

The flat also comes furnished and with shared use of a garden. The Property Company are "delighted to present this first floor double bedsit,” the listing reads.

”The property features a double bed with an open plan fully-fitted equipped kitchen with private use. The flat has shared use of bathroom with w/c and spacious lounge area.

“Shared use of the rear garden. Located within short walking distance of shops, bars and Bruce Grove station.”
