Paris Fury has been criticised for her baby son's cot after some followers noticed a dangerous feature within it.

The television personality and wife of boxing legend Tyson took to her Instagram page to share a snap of her newborn son Prince Rico relaxing in his huge bed. The seventh child of Paris and Tyson was born last month weighing 6lb 13oz. However, Tyson sadly missed the birth of his son as he left Paris' bedside to go and train.

At the time, both Tyson and Paris believed that Rico would arrive a day later due to her labour progressing slowly. Moments after the birth, Tyson rushed to the hospital to meet his child and congratulate his wife, who was joined at the birth by her mum.

The doting mother has shared a sweet snap of Rico with her 1.7 million followers as he laid back in his huge cot surrounded by silk pillows while wearing a silk babygro. The huge bed is made of wood and appears to be decorated in gold leafing with the words 'Baby Fury' etched into it under a crown.

Surrounding the tot are five pillows, all emblazoned with the same monogram in gold which also matched his babygro and bib. The little one was blissfully relaxing as Mum Paris filmed him. Captioning her upload, Paris, 33, penned: "My Prince Rico in his royal crib today. Love his big cot and bed set, thought it was so classic but different too."

Her post which has been liked over 47,000 times was soon flooded with comments although some were not too complimentary towards her. One person typed: "So cute but too many pillows... Hope it was just for the pic." A second penned: "Pillows have no place in a baby's cot! Dangerous! Unless you guys are having a photoshoot."

But some fans leapt to Paris' defence, with one penning: "Here we go... Here comes all the safe sleep police." A second added: "I looked at the comments cos I just knew someone was going to say something about the pillows. I'm sure she knows what she’s doing by now."

The Lullaby Trust advise that a baby's cot is free of toys as well as loose bedding. It's recommended that duvets and pillows shouldn't be used for children under 12 months.

Although Paris gave birth just a number of weeks ago, she has already hinted at having an eighth child with Tyson. Speaking on Loose Women, Paris suggested that the couple are not ready to rule out having more children and may have another when Tyson eventually retires.

"We're on the fence whether this is the last one or not," she said. "So Tyson said, 'Might as well get it in there while you can.'" She also said that 'Rico' was a tribute to Tyson's cousin, Rico Burton, who was murdered aged 31 in a fatal stabbing last year. "So that was how that came about," she added sombrely.
