Eagle-eyed fans of Taylor Swift have been left in hysterics after noticing that Travis Kelce seems to hold his rumoured new girlfriend's hand like a football.
After weeks of speculation over the nature of their relationship, the world-famous pair stepped up their romance with an intimate date night in New York. Following a surprise appearance at a recording of 'Saturday Night Live', they would end their evening with a meal at the exclusive Nobu restaurant.
In between, the loved-up duo would attend the 'SNL' afterparty, with the couple having been spotted holding hands as they left the bash. The sight of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker together turned heads but fans have since made one intriguing observation.
As Swift and Kelce emerged together, it appeared that the latter was keeping a tight hold of his new beau's hand - with a grip perhaps better suited to the football field. When the two of them dined together at Greenwich Village's Waverly Inn a day later, he appeared to repeat the gesture.

First noticed by the 'Taylor Swift Facts' Twitter/ X page, the observation appeared inspired a host of different takes. In reply to the post, one commenter said: "Well yeah… he knows you’re not supposed to drop the important things," while another added: "She looks so precious to him."
One Kelce devotee also expressed their delight for the Chiefs favourite as his relationship with Swift continues to develop, saying: "I'm a life long Chiefs fan and Kelce has been looking for the right one and lord I hope this is it for both of them. They look so happy together. I love everything about it."
The 34-year-old's caring side towards the chart sensation has shone through over the weekend with TMZ having reported several kind acts on his part from their night at Nobu. It's added the tight end the Chiefs star let Swift wear his coat as they left the eatery.

Addressing Kelce's holding of Swift's hand, she added: "He places his own hand out to envelop hers, with his firmly on top in the clasp and at one point Taylor even puts the handle of her bag over the hand clasp so they are both carrying it in."
