The Prime Gaming and Amazon Luna's rotating selection for October 2023 has been announced, with a strong horror focus as we approach spooky season.

Amazon has confirmed the Prime Gaming October 2023 offering, and like PS Plus which is offering up the spooky The Callisto Protocol as a part of the PS Plus Essential October 2023 lineup, Amazon is going all-in on the horror games this month. The biggest addition to the ranks this month is Ghostwire: Tokyo, the action-horror-hybrid from Tango Gameworks (and a title which Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami worked on at the company). Ghostwire is available to download and keep on the Epic Games Store for Prime subscribers on Thursday, October 5.

Meanwhile, Prime Gaming members get access to a rotating selection of Amazon Luna streaming titles each month, without needing to pay for a Luna subscription. While this month's lineup includes Fortnite, (which is available to stream on Xbox Cloud Gaming for free), the real standout is the inclusion of some of the best horror games ever made.

While they aren't horror in the traditional sense, Castlevania and Devil May Cry are action series steeped in Horror iconography and settings. With Prime Gaming you'll be able to stream Castlevania Anniversary Collection which collects eight classic Castlevania titles into one package. You'll also be able to stream Devil May Cry 5, the latest – and best – entry in the iconic Capcom series.

You'll be able to redeem and keep these titles, and even if your Amazon Prime subscription is cancelled you can continue to play them freely. In addition, Amazon has also confirmed a number of Amazon Luna streaming titles that will be made available for all Amazon Prime subscribers to stream in October:

Unlike the Prime Gaming free games, these titles will not be available to keep after they leave the service.

As always, Prime Gaming is also offering extra content for titles, with in-game items and bonuses becoming available as the month goes on. These are as follows:

The blog post also mentions content for Valorant being on the way, however, the full list of content doesn't mention when or what that will be. Your best bet is to keep an eye on Prime Gaming.
