Former First Lady Melania Trump has surprisingly announced the launch of a range of Christmas decorations despite previously saying “who gives a f**k about Christmas stuff and decoration?”

This comes as a judge ruled that husband has committed fraud by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth. Financial documents submitted as part of a civil case accuse Trump of inflating his net worth from anywhere between $1.9 billion to $3.6 billion per year from 2011 to 2021.

Melania, whose absence at her husband's side on the campaign trail is often noticed, announced the new line of Christmas decorations on X (formerly ), posting: "I am pleased to continue USA Memorabilia’s tradition of celebrating the season with A Red, White and Blue Christmas. This year, I found myself looking to my love for our great nation for inspiration. May everyone experience an abundance of peace & love during the holiday season."

It included a link to a website - USA Memorabilia - where the range of five Christmas decorations called 'A Red, White and Blue Christmas' can be bought. All are for sale for $35-$45 and are coloured in the red, white and blue of the American flag. The website describes the range, saying: "A Red, White and Blue Christmas Collection includes five limited edition Christmas ornaments with corresponding digital collectibles. Former First Lady Melania Trump's signature is included on each ornament; and the ornaments are proudly handcrafted in the United States."

In 2018 she decorated the White House with blood-red Christmas trees lining the halls. Later referring to the public reaction to her decorating in a released recording, Melania said: "You know, who gives a f**k about Christmas stuff and decoration but I need to do it, right?"

The former US president recently revealed his own thoughts about Melania and the 'mystery' around her. He said: "She doesn't need to be out there [to get interviewed]. She has confidence. She has a lot of self-confidence." The couple married in 2005 and have one child together, 17-year-old Barron.

However, although Melania was a present fixture during Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and subsequent presidency the former model has been absent throughout his third attempted bid for the White House. She has also rarely been seen by her husband's side during his multiple arraignments and hearings in relation to his four criminal indictments. Trump told Megyn on Thursday: "She was a very popular first lady.

"I mean, I go out to rallies, and they have pictures of Melania [and say], 'We love our first lady.' So many posters were there in the audience... We had the biggest rallies we've ever had," reports .

Judge Arthur Engoron issued the ruling today in a filed against Trump by New York's attorney general. The judge ruled that Trump had committed fraud for years while building his real estate empire which served as a launchpad for not only his fame but also his time in the as President. Judge Engoron found that Trump and his company had deceived banks, insurers and others by hugely overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing.

Trump hit back against the latest ruling over his finances. In a series of statements, he said it was "un-American" and a violation of his civil rights. Taking to his Truth Social platform he said: "My Civil rights have been violated, and some Appellate Court, whether federal or state, must reverse this horrible, un-American decision".
