Thomas Markle branded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'cruel' as he made a plea to see his grandkids on live TV today.
The father of the Duchess of Sussex appeared on Good Morning Britain today where he spoke to hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley about healing his relationship with his daughter, as he shared his hope to see his grandkids.
Speaking on the show today, Thomas said that he was desperate to see his grandkids - Archie and Lillibet. He explained that it was "cruel" for him not to be allowed to see his grandkids, and made a plea to be reunited with them during his appearance on TV today.
He said: "I'm very upset about it as well because this is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent ... To deny the right to see their grandchild." He also opened up about his own health battles, and explained he was managing his stroke recovery.
Thomas spoke on Good Morning Britain today (ITV)Thomas Jr, Meghan's brother, spoke to the Sunday Mirror back in 2022 when he told Meghan it wasn't too late for them to reconcile.

"We both watched clips of the Queen’s funeral together. I was overcome with emotion at how every person spectating was honoured to be there and respectful," he said, before addressing Meghan directly: "Dad treated you like a princess your entire life and deserves the respect. You didn’t call him for his heart attacks or stroke, but it’s never too late."
Speaking about his father's health battles, Thomas Jr added: "I take him to speech therapy every week and a full recovery is on the horizon. He’s in good spirits and he’s getting his voice back. Some days are good, some are not so good. Full recovery, we hope, is in the near future. I’d like to send this invitation for her to do the right thing and make amends with her father. But she also has to make amends with our sister Samantha and myself. Everyone makes mistakes – it’s never too late to do the right thing."

He was caught staging snaps of himself being measured up for a wedding suit and reading online articles about Meghan before her nuptials, which is reportedly what led to their fall out.
"I've made mistakes. I apologised a hundred times for it. If I had done something terribly wrong, that would be fine, but I haven't. The bottom line is she didn’t lose me, she made a statement saying she lost me, she didn't lose me. I would've always been there for her, I'm there for her now if she wants me. I'd like to say again. I'm sorry for what I've done. This was two years ago. But I've tried to make it up to her. I'm now only 70 miles away. I've never stopped loving her. I don't agree with all the things that my children they do. But I will always love them. And I certainly love Meghan," he shared previously of what happened with Meghan.
