As fans tuned in to watch this year's WellChild Awards, a huge onscreen blunder left host Gaby Rosllin rather red-faced.

During the ceremony, attendees were asked to take their seats before the 59-year-old TV presenter was introduced. The compare of the event welcomed her to the stage, but accidentally called her Gaby Rose instead.

Luckily, Gaby was ever the professional and made a joke out of the awkward moment. Addressing the audience, she laughed about how she is often confused for Gabby Logan before explaining all about the WellChild Awards.

The event celebrates the inspirational qualities of the UK's seriously ill children. Prince Harry has been a patron of WellChild since 2007 and has nearly always attended the annual event, bringing wife Meghan Markle along in recent years. He was due to speak at the ceremony last year but was forced to cancel following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Duke of Sussex has returned to the UK for the third time this year to attend the WellChild Awards in London. He's not expected to see the Royal Family during the visit.

Harry confirmed he would make the trip at the end of last month with a statement on the charity's website. It read: "For nearly 20 years, WellChild has been transforming the lives of children and young people across the UK, providing critical care that priorities the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of these individuals and their families. The courage and strength embodied by these young people – and the tireless devotion of those who support them – never cease to inspire me. I’m honoured to attend this year’s awards ceremony and celebrate their incredible work."

The Duke of Sussex was seen smiling as he shook hands with award winners and attendees as he arrived at the WellChild Awards. A host of famous faces, including former Olympic swimmer Mark Foster and TV presenter Charlotte Hawkins, joined the duke in attendance.

Harry met with a number of children in a pre-ceremony reception, where he was also given gifts, hand-shakes and plenty of high-fives from the youngsters. Harry will be presenting an award for Inspirational Child (aged four to six) and delivering a speech.
