An excited and expectant mother surprised her unsuspecting 90-year-old grandma with the amazing news that she was pregnant after years of struggling with her fertility. And it's not just one baby she'll be having - but she's having twins. Samantha Chadwick had been trying for a baby for years and years, but after a disheartening trip to a fertility clinic, she gave up on her hopes and dreams of becoming a mum.
However, in an unexpected twist of fate, those dreams came true, as the 27-year-old realised that she'd conceived naturally - and she took multiple tests to make sure, as she couldn't quite believe it.
Having unfortunately lost her mother six years ago, the next person for Samantha to tell was her 90-year-old grandma June, whose reaction she recorded in a heartwarming video, which she posted to TikTok. The video quickly went viral with masses of support for the mum-to-be from Queensland, Australia.
The child support worker said: "It wasn't until I went for my first scan that I found out that there were two in there. My nan always said I'd be a good mum as my mum who passed away six years ago was a teacher of young children her whole life and all my life I have worked with kids and have loved being around them. She's still so excited and calls me all the time to make sure me and the babies are okay. I have read comments to her and she's seen other videos I have posted about it."
In the comments of the video, people showed support for Samantha, writing: "When I say this made me cry, I'm bawling my eyes out!" Another said: "After years of fertility issues here, this video really melts my heart! Bless your nan and a healthy pregnancy for you."
