Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel have made their feud no secret over the years, but a recent move from Liam sparked excitement a reunion could be on the cards - only for the theory to be quashed as fans got excited.
The Manchester-born siblings dominated the charts since finding fame in 1993 until their split in 2009 and, since then, have been at loggerheads with one another. Their infamous feud, which has even been passed down to their children, previously made fans believe there is no chance that Oasis could reform.
But one move from Liam sparked rumours the possibility of the group getting back together is on. In an unexpected move, it's claimed Liam is swapping record labels. Since launching a solo career, Liam has been signed to Warner but is now moving over to Parlophone – who some believe and incorrectly reported are responsible for Noel's solo career, as well as old rivals Blur.

On the same record label roster (PA)But while many fans have already got excited about the move from Liam, they shouldn't rush out to buy a new parka and bucket head for an Oasis reunion just yet. Noel has never been signed to Parlophone, with the High Flying Birds frontman an independent artist since quitting Oasis.
Next year, the group will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album Definitely Maybe, which could prompt discussions inside the label office for the band to get back on stage together. It's previously been claimed a performance at Knebworth could be on the cards with up to 250,000 people flocking to see the group.

Oasis previously performed at Knebworth in 1996, with an eye-watering 500,000 people heading to the idyllic village to see their favourite band live. It's claimed the two gigs also had the biggest guest list of all time. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Having the brothers linked to the same record label would make it easier to release any new Oasis music."
Last month Noel teased he would be ready to reunite with Liam and their bandmates again, 14 years after they called it a day. During a Q&A at The Rose Theatre in Kingston, when asked by an audience member during a recent chat about who should be included in an Oasis reunion line-up, Noel replied: "So me… Liam…Well, it's a funny thing because we're all at a certain age now.

It comes after Noel recently insisted it was up to his brother to make peace in order for the band to get back together. Noel labelled Liam a "coward" on Twitter and complained his brother would never actually make the call to reunite Oasis as he said he was 'all mouth'.
"Well, I put it out there. [Liam] won't call … I mean, he should call me, because he's like, he's forever going on about it. You'd have thought by now, he'd have some kind of plan. He doesn't have to speak to me. He won't speak to me, he's a coward. So he should get some of his people, his agent, to call my people and say: 'Look, this is what we're thinking,' and then we'll have a conversation about it. Until then, he’s being a little bit disingenuous," he told talkSPORT.
