Will Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith looked unrecognisable in a nostaglic throwback snap of her younger self wearing an eccentric floral outfit on the red carpet during her early sitcom days as she gets ready to release her memoir.
The Red Table Talk host posted the rare blast from the past on her Instagram this week as she was seen strutting her stuff at the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a bold flowered number. In the printed out photograph, the young actress was seen sporting a daring red-and-gold short romper with huge ruffled flowers at the neckline. The star paired the vibrant look with pointed shiny gold heels and long dangling lighting bolt earrings.
The famous Emmy-award winning star captioned the post poking fun at her former fashion sense writing for her 11.4 million followers to see. She wrote: "Now … I had to find some pics to accompany different chapters of my book and THIS one popped up. I didn’t know noth’n about a red carpet and had the nerve to wear THIS outfit to @therealdebbieallen’s getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during my A Different World Days. Lawd."
In the post, the talk show host was referencing the memoir she is writing about her life titled "Worthy" that will be released for fans on October 4. In the book, the famous star recounts her life story sharing her journey of finding herself again as she shares details of her past including her struggle with her mental health and her path to self-acceptance and spiritual healing.
Described as "gripping" and "painfully honest" the book gives readers a look at her complicated past from her rebellious youth on the streets of Baltimore as an "observer and participant" in the drug trade to her incredible success in Hollywood. She also shares an inside look at her marriage to I Am Legend star Will Smith and her relationship with her children Jaden Smith and Willow Smith.
