Jake Paul would gladly put his feud with Conor McGregor to the side in order to help promote the undisputed lightweight title fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.
The legendary UFC champion met with Eddie Hearn, who promotes Taylor, in Dublin last week to discuss his potential involvement in the super-fight, which is all but booked for the 3Arena on May 20. McGregor had offered to pay the mega-money difference that could have brought the bout to the 82,000-capacity Croke Park, which led to a meeting between the two.
With Paul on the other side of the bout as Serrano's promoter, it could lead to issues given his long-standing rivalry with McGregor. As an Irishman, the UFC star is keen to help push Taylor towards an historic homecoming, and told Mirror Fighting last week that he would "support the fight" directly after the meeting.
"I think it's great," Paul responded when asked by Mirror Fighting if he would like McGregor involved. "But it's not really about us. It's about Amanda and Katie and their whole entire event, that's what it's really about, so I think it's great that he would be involved and help to get the event done in any way possible. We could put our differences aside and let the focus be on the ladies."
Paul has already had to ignore one high-profile feud in order to make the fight happen; he was recently sued for defamation by his co-promoter, Hearn. The duo were once best of friends, with the British promoter even putting on he and brother Logan's professional debuts, and despite the fact that their relationship has soured, they are still due to work together come May 20.

The only other boxer in the world to ever do that is Evander Holyfield in the three-belt era, so she has a chance to become literally the greatest boxer of all time."
