A woman has split opinion after begging mums to dress properly when they drop their kids off at school.
She lives just opposite a school and notices at drop off time in the morning a lot of mums will come dressed in their pyjamas with a coat over the top- and has asked when people became okay with this.
But the move has left some asking why she even cares as everybody is in a different situation so you shouldn't judge those based on what they wear when they drop their kids off.
In a Mumsnet post, she added that nobody did this when she was at school.
She sees a lot of mums wear slippers as well (Getty Images/iStockphoto)In the post, the woman, who remained anonymous, wrote: "I live opposite a school and my work desk is at the window that looks out to the school, it means I can indulge in a bit of casual people watching while daydreaming and pretending to work.

"I've noticed a large number of mums (never dad's weirdly) who turn up in pyjamas, big puffy coat, and slip on shoes or slippers for the 9am school run."
She went onto say that she knows everyone lives in different situations so she does not know the reasoning behind the choice but asked when we became ok with this.
"I don't remember any parents in pyjamas when I was at school nor when my children (youngest is 16) were at primary school so is this a new phenomenon?"
But in response, many others were divided with some agreeing that people should dress properly for the school run, while others questioned whether it was any of her business.
One person wrote: "Seriously, they're just clothes. Who cares? I sometimes do the school run in the t-shirt I slept in plus joggers, un-brushed hair etc. a right scruff."
While another stated: "I'm only going to take them off and put the scuzzy/comfy clothes on when I get back home. Why make extra laundry? Totally illogical."
However, others were less sympathetic, as one stated: "I don't know anyone who'd go out in their pyjamas to be honest. Just chuck on some jeans, not really big effort is it."
