MAKE sure you’re in good voice to cheer home CAIUS CHORISTER (3.35) in York’s Sky Bet Ebor.
He looks to have had Britain’s most valuable Flat handicap in his sights since finishing runner-up in the Melrose – basically the Ebor for three-year-olds – on this card 12 months ago.
That form stands up very well and his trainer David Menuisier has kept him to shorter distances this term.
He kicked off the season with a couple of decent Epsom efforts before putting a rare poor shift in a Listed race at Pontefract.
That was simply too bad to be true and, although he never figured in a decent handicap at Goodwood earlier in the month, it was a promising effort.

The ground was softer than he cares for and the 1m2f trip way too short, but he plugged on nicely in the closing stages. The return to 1m6f will be ideal. Have 2pts each-way at 33-1. The race sponsors Sky Bet are paying out on a monster eight places.
