ENJOY a good Hollie-day as York’s Ebor Meeting kicks off.

Top jockey Hollie Doyle looks to have some decent rides and I reckon she could bang in a treble for three different trainers.

She rides SOLENT GETAWAY (4.10) for Hugo Palmer in the Sky Bet Stayers Handicap.

There looks to be an absence of potential frontrunners in this competitive contest and they could easily dictate the tempo.

This strong stayer made all the running to win at Haydock in May when Doyle was in the saddle. Two of his other three victories also came when ridden by female jockeys. Have 1pt each-way at 12-1. The sponsors are paying out on five places.

Doyle rides CRUISE (4.45) in the following contest.

She showed loads of pace to score at Newcastle in June when returned to 5f for the first time since taking on The Platinum Queen last season.

That’s good form and she looks like a filly capable of going through the ranks.

Her trainer Ollie Sangster is having an excellent first season. He’s been operating at a strike-rate at above 30 per cent since the start of June. Have 1pt each-way at 10-1. Most bookies are paying out on four places with Sky Bet going five.

RED ZONE HERO (5.20) should appreciate the return to 6f in the closing nursery.

He ran Seven Questions to a neck in a Yarmouth maiden last month and that form couldn’t have worked out much better with the winner going on to complete a hat-trick of wins.

Michael Bell’s youngster has since notched up an easy win under Doyle in an Ayr maiden.

There’s every chance he is well weighted for his handicap debut. Have 1pt each-way at 12-1. A few bookies are paying six places.

BERGERAC (1.50) is a good bet to start the meeting in the same way he did last year.

Kevin Ryan’s sprinter made most of the running when successful in the opening race last year and he went on to finish a close sixth in the Ayr Gold Cup.

His form in two starts this year has been shocking but there have been excuses. The blindfold came off late on his belated return to action and he raced away from the main group with one other runner when well beaten at Ascot last month.

The handicapper has given him a right chance. Have 2pts each-way at 18-1. Several bookies are paying six places.
