Stefon Diggs has completely disproved the 'sources' of popular ESPN host Stephen A. Smith after confirming he does not want to leave the Buffalo Bills.
Tensions were high at the end of last season, as the Bills were eliminated from the playoffs by the Cincinnati Bengals and Diggs was upset with quarterback Josh Allen. Diggs was seen shouting at Allen during the game, but both players later denied that there were any issues and it was just the heat of the moment.
The Bills have been one of the favourites to win the Super Bowl for the last few years with Josh Allen starring at quarterback, but they are yet to even make it to the final game of the postseason. There's concern amongst the Bills fans that they may have already blown their best chance to win, and Smith used his ESPN platform to suggest Diggs is seeking a move elsewhere.
Smith said on Monday morning: "This brother wants out by the way, I'm just telling you what I know. I got my own sources.
"He doesn't want to be in Buffalo anymore. Stefon Diggs has got to be there but he'd prefer to be gone because he's lost a level of belief. But he's not going to force his way out; he knows he's got to be there and he's got to perform.

"But he isn't feeling the Buffalo Bills the way that he once did because he feels there's a window of opportunity they may have missed out on." But Diggs responded to the claims just hours after the clip was released and reassured Bills fans that he was happy.
"100% not true. I don’t know who the source is but I thought I'd nip this s*** in the bud already," Diggs wrote on Twitter. "Rocking wit my dawgs… Bills mafia through and through!"
Diggs remains a very popular player at the franchise, and head coach Sean McDermott has already said how much he would hate to lose him. "He's one of our captains and a leader on this football team," McDermott said earlier this offseason.
"He works extremely, extremely hard -- as hard as any player that I've been around -- to be elite in this league, and that's what he is. And I love him."
If there were any secret issues between Diggs and the Bills, it certainly isn't financial. Diggs agreed to a restructure this summer to create cap space, as $6.754 million (£5.29m) of Diggs' 2023 salary was converted into a signing bonus, according to Spotrac. Diggs and Allen are both desperate to win the Super Bowl, and remain one of the AFC favourites in a loaded AFC full of contenders for the 2023 season.
