A plush studio flat has hit the market for £2,150 a month - but there is one catch.

The luxury pad comes fully furnished and has oak flooring and underfloor heating. The kitchen boasts a posh Quooker boiling hot water and purified water tap, plus a quartz worktop.

A 55-inch TV is included as well as superfast fibre broadband. There is a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and also a terrace at the back.

But the one drawback is the king-sized bed on the mezzanine level. Renters will have to carefully slide in and out and won't even be able to sit up in bed.

The bedroom area is up a flight of stairs. However, the ceiling is so low that tenants would have to crawl around it.

The room has no furniture in it, except for a king-sized mattress on the floor. There is also not enough space for a bed frame, wardrobe or basic furniture.

And when nodding off to sleep, your face will be inches away from the ceiling lights. The one-person studio flat in Islington, north London is being let on OpenRent.

The listing reads: “Brand new development. Fully Furnished, finished to a high standard throughout.

It adds: “Thoughtfully designed. Large living area and dining space perfect for socializing. Open plan modern kitchen with washer/dryer and large fridge/freezer.

“Ethernet ports for wired superfast internet connections. Spacious layout with ample storage + storage room. Private patio terrace area.

“Mezzanine area with a king-sized bed. Sofa with large 55-inch TV included.

“Large bathroom with a shower and skylight. Access to the large communal area below the studio flat. Air Con available for an extra £85 per month.

“All bills included, superfast fibre broadband. Water softener installed for limescale-free water. Monthly cleaner for the communal area below the studio flat.”
