Gamescom Opening Night Live kicks off Europe's largest gaming event this week before doors open to press and fans, here's everything you need to know about the show.

While Gamescom doesn't open to the general public until Thursday, August 25, the show kicks off two days earlier with the Opening Night Live event, hosted by Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards' own Geoff Keighley. Reveals from Ubisoft, Activision, Sega, and CD Projekt Red are all confirmed for the show so far.

We've already given our Gamescom Opening Night Live predictions, including Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and Super Mario Bros Wonder.

Gamescom Opening Night Live: start time

Gamescom Opening Night Live is set to begin at 7pm BST / 2pm EDT / 11am PDT on Tuesday, August 22. As of right now, no official runtime has been revealed, but based on prior shows we'd expect the show to run anywhere from two to two-and-a-half hours.

There's also a 30-minute pre-show, which in the past has had reveals during them, so it may be worth tuning in early to save missing anything.

Gamescom Opening Night Live: how to watch

Gamescom Opening Night Live will be available to watch on both TheGameAwards Youtube and Twitch channels.

We've embedded the YouTube stream right here so you don't even need to leave the page to watch it. Mirror Gaming's own Shabana Arif and Jasmine Mannan will be streaming the event live on the Mirror Gaming YouTube channel, so you can watch along and get our reactions to the event live.

Gamescom Opening Night Live: confirmed titles

Geoff Keighley has said that this presentation will be focused on new info for existing games rather than new game reveals. @GeoffKeighley on Twitter has been slowly revealing titles that are set to be shown off during the event. Here's what's been confirmed for the show so far:

Obviously, there are still going to be a few surprises at the show, but if you're going in expecting back-to-back giant AAA announcements on the level of Summer Game Fest 2023 you'll probably leave disappointed.
