The romantic event was a total surprise to the couple's 60 guests, who arrived expecting to attend a James Bond Casino Royale party to mark Robbie's 20 years in entertainment.
"Ayda's much better at keeping a secret than me," the Angels singer told Hello! magazine shortly after their nuptials. "But on this occasion I've pretty much managed it."
Robbie also confessed to initially suggesting Las Vegas as a wedding location, only to change his mind after realizing how much the day meant to his future wife.
"The setting was so magical, and to be surrounded by family and close friends and then see Ayda appear looking so radiant was almost too much for me to take," he recalled. "When I walked down the aisle with our dogs and heard everyone cheering it made me so emotional I'm surprised I held it together. I'm the happiest man alive."
Today, the A-list couple are the proud parents of four children, Teddy, Charlie, Coco and Beau, and reside in a $49.5m mansion located in the affluent Los Angeles neighbourhood of Holmby Hills.
