Stacey Solomon has showed off her DIY at-home hair transformation on her Instagram live.
The star took to her social media to give her followers a step by step guide as to how she achieves her blonde look. The mum-of-five took part in a live video where she began by showing her grey roots.
She then joked: "That’s three kids that’s what that is", and adding: "I’ve let my roots get so bad, this is not good, I should have done this months ago." Stacey mixed the dye up before applying it on her hair, saying she would share the results on her Instagram later on.
She posted a screenshot to her stories where she joked about the state of her roots before her dye job. She wrote: "OMG this is the actual screen shot I took on my live dying my roots. Why am I like this??? At least you can see the terrible roots even if they are a bit blurry."

Along with a thumbs up, Stacey wrote: "It's not fully dry I can't be bothered but it's a MILLION times better I'm so happy I will have nice hair for holiday!"

She explained that she used the same colour every time which is the L’Oréal Paris Préférence Permanent Hair Dye, in the Very Light Ash Beige Blonde (9.12) shade. Stacey freshly dyed her hair as she gets ready to jet off on a summer holiday with her family on Thursday.
In another Instagram story, Stacey shared a photo of her surrounded by suitcases, preparing for her trip. "BACK HOME. And I'm packing like a crazy woman," she wrote. Judging by a photo of the star with multiple suitcases suggests that every family member will be going on the trip. Stacey is yet to reveal where they're due to go for their family holiday but she is sure to keep her followers updated while she's away.
