Lady Victoria Hervey is the latest celebrity to wade in on the rumours that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage is on the rocks.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been surrounded by nasty split rumours lately as reports have speculated that their romance is over and a divorce in imminent.
A friend of the couple has hit back at the rumours and said they're "literally made up" - with the Meghan and Harry yet to comment on the claims.
Reports recently claimed Meghan and Harry were said to have been "taking time apart" - something that wouldn't surprise Lady Victoria.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Lady Victoria said: "Honestly I don’t think people will be that surprised. Long term was this ever going to be a sustainable relationship? The end will most likely crash out as fast as it all started. It’s not too late hopefully for Harry to make his amends with his family and be welcomed back."
Oprah Winfrey snubs Harry and Meghan as expert claims 'the tide has turned'Lady Hervey's comments come after former WAG Lizzie Cundy has also spoken out about the royal couple. Lizzie, who was a former pal of Meghan's, said a split could work in Harry's favour if him and Meghan do part ways and could even see him reuniting with his estranged royal family, including older brother William.
She said: "I think it will be a lot better for Harry. If he does come back here he would be welcomed with open arms. Don't forget it was our most popular royal once upon a time and the people who would welcome him with open arms, I really think it will be the best thing for Harry. Of course, it's going to be very sad and it's sad for the children. But it's time for Harry to come home."
Lizzie added: "I do believe Megan thought it was all about diamonds, jewels, tiaras and being the star of the show but it's not about that being a royal and Princess Kate was always going to be the top dog!"
Meghan and Harry moved from the UK to California shortly after they made the controversial decision to step down as senior working royals in 2020. Since then, they have delivered several bombshells including allegations of racism within the Royal Family, and claims that Harry was "cut off financially" by his dad, King Charles. In his memoir titled 'Spare', he opened up about losing his virginity and drug use.
Rumours of a split began on social media earlier this month, when a tweet began circulating claiming Meghan has “filed divorce papers asking for $80 million plus the total custody of Archie and Lilibet.” DeuxMoi, an Instagram gossip account, also ran an anonymous tip in recent days claiming the couple had “sold their mansion in Montecito” and Harry was “living in another place.”
"It's not true. It's literally made up," an insider close to Meghan and Harry told Page Six on Wednesday, putting the rumours to bed.
