Conor McGregor has insisted a mega-fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has to take place in the UFC.
Tech bosses Musk and Zuckerberg have been teasing an MMA fight in recent weeks after the Tesla boss initially proposed the idea. UFC boss Dana White was all ears about the idea and spoke with both Musk and Zuckerberg on the phone about the fight, with both of the billionaires insisting they are serious about stepping foot in the cage.
Former two-weight world champion McGregor has now given his thoughts on the fantasy fight as he told Adam Glyn: "I'm interested. Are they gonna go ahead with it? Are they gonna make it happen? If it happens under the UFC banner, I'm with it. It has to happen under the UFC banner and then I'm with it.

Several UFC fighters have offered to train Musk and Zuckerberg for the potential fight, but McGregor dismissed a possible coaching involvement on his behalf as is preparing for a comeback fight against Michael Chandler. "I'm training for my fight, I'm coming and I'm ready for my fight," McGregor added.

Musk could be in luck as McGregor then backtracked on his original comments by adding that he would train with the Tesla boss if he wanted to. "For sure, I'd do a bit of work with him. I hope they go ahead with it. The pockets might be large, but is the talk cheap? They've said it but are they going to do it now, so I'm excited to see how it unfolds."

Gimmick is MMA guys going to boxing and getting beat. We have seen it already and know how it ends. This is a fight between two of the most powerful richest guys in the world. 'Who will win? Who has seen this before? Nobody." White replied to another fan: "I love doing massive fights that everyone wanna see. This is the biggest one of all time. Fun s**t."
McGregor is expected to fight Chandler at UFC 296 on December 16, but the fight is yet to be made official. His comeback fight could be delayed until the first quarter of next year as McGregor is yet to re-enter the USADA testing pool to complete six months of mandatory drug testing ahead of his return.
