South Park makes cruel prediction for 'victim' Meghan and Harry's marriage

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were brutally taken down on South Park for their recent antics - but the most savage part was a prediction for their future.

While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren't specifically named, it didn't take a genius to work out who the fictional 'Prince and Princess of Canada' were supposed to be.

Show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are renowned for hilariously mocking a wide range of celebs, but some felt they went 'too far' this time with their merciless lampooning.

From Meghan's magazine covers to Harry's blue todger and even a candle scandal - there were a shedload of digs at the royals in the outrageous episode.

However, the most worrying for them personally came at the end of the episode, where a prediction was made about their marriage.

Earlier on in the episode, the fictional Prince and Princess of Canada go on a 'Worldwide Privacy Tour' after claiming they are 'victims'.

They carry signs which read 'Stop Looking At Us' and 'We Want Our Privacy', with the prince saying: "We just want to be normal people - all this attention is so hard."

Most of the show revolves around the couple trying to get the attention of Kyle Broflovski while insisting they just want privacy.

At the end of the episode, the prince sees the error of his ways when Kyle explains by trying to engineer an image by which others perceive that they have become performers and not human beings.

Seeing the error of his ways, the Harry character admits: "Trying to make ourselves into a brand just turned us into products.

"We don't need to be a brand do we. If it’s truly what we want we can get away from it all. No more magazines and Netflix shows. We really can lead a normal life."

He then tells his wife that all that matters is what they have on the inside, but then he opens her mouth to look inside and gets an echo when he shouts inside.

The prince decides to stop trying to create a fake brand and goes to leave - but his wife doesn't respond and decides to stay without him.

Once alone, the prince actually becomes friends with Kyle and the other South Park kids - and gets to have fun playing his drum kit.

The South Park bosses seem to have predicted Harry will leave Meghan one day, but have they got it right?

While not quite on The Simpsons' level of looking into the future, South Park does have a fairly decent track record.

They appeared to predict award-winning 2005 film Brokeback Mountain before it was made, an Ebola strain was discovered on the same week of their episode Gluten Free Ebola, and in 1999 they got scarily close to predicting Pokémon Go.

Most people found the new episode hilarious, including Piers Morgan, who tweeted: "The South Park rinsing of Meghan & Harry is lethally brilliant… suspect this is how most Americans now feel about them."

One person pointed out: "Yes South Park have roasted Harry and Meghan but they've done the same to William and Kate and have a history of dragging the royals before. It's actually an honour to be coated by South Park because it shows you're someone of relevance"

"South Park is fearless, willing to go after anyone on their show. They nailed this scene about Harry and Meghan," added another.

A third wrote: "TBH I'd be more worried if South Park didn't take the pee out of them!"

But some felt the show bosses 'went too far' with one gag, where they very accurately recreated a load of Meghan's real life magazine covers.

There were cartoon versions of the Vanity Fair front page she did before she wed Harry, and one she recently did for The Cut to promote her Spotify podcast.

But the most controversial one is a spoof of GQ, which in real life had the headline 'Meghan's annus mirabilis', which translates from Latin to 'Meghan's wonderful year'.

However, the South Park version controversially read: "Princess Anus."

American journalist Megyn Kelly fears the couple won't be able to 'recover' from their South Park humiliation.

Megyn, who has often rushed to the defence of the pair, believes that all efforts of a comeback for the Sussexes have since been 'dashed'.

She said: "I feel this is a pronouncement that they have jumped the shark, they are not beloved and her hopes of running for president, reported hopes, are all but dashed."

Pointing toward the rumours of Meghan running for the US presidency, Kelly responded: "That's not happening.

"When South Park turns on you, there's no recovering."
