A BBC presenter is said to be facing an investigation after allegedly paying a teen for sexually explicit images.
Sources claim that the top star has been accused of handing over £35,000 in return for explicit images from when the person behind the camera was just 17.
Although the identity of the mystery presenter has not been disclosed, the mother of the alleged recipient claims that the teen had used the extortionate amount of cash to find a crack cocaine addiction.
The BBC reports that the presenter in question is not scheduled to be on air in the next few days but the corporation is understood to be looking into the claims.
"One time he had sent £5,000 in one lump. The money had been in exchange for sexually explicit photographs of my child," the furious mother told The Sun.

The teen who is remaining anonymous allegedly went from a "happy-go-lucky" teen to a "ghost-like" addict in just a number of years.
It's believed that the family of the concerned recipient approached the BBC on May 19 and pleaded with the tax-payer funded corporation to beg the man to "stop sending cash".
"I blame this BBC man for destroying my child's life," they added.
The messages are said to have started in 2020 and the man behind sending the images refrained from protecting his identity, as well as allegedly sending images of himself at his place of work.
The outlet claims that the man in question once sent £5,000 in a lump sum in exchange for explicit pictures of the then-teen.
A spokesperson for the BBC told the Mirror: "We treat any allegations very seriously and we have processes in place to proactively deal with them. As part of that, if we receive information that requires further investigation or examination we will take steps to do this. That includes actively attempting to speak to those who have contacted us in order to seek further detail and understanding of the situation.
"If we get no reply to our attempts or receive no further contact that can limit our ability to progress things but it does not mean our enquiries stop. If, at any point, new information comes to light or is provided – including via newspapers – this will be acted upon appropriately, in line with internal processes."
