Fox News has announced an all-new line-up for its primetime slots following the exit of Tucker Carlson in April.

From July 17, the channel will debut a brand new lineup at its peak times. The lineup was confirmed by the company's CEO Suzanne Scott in an announcement on Monday.

It will see Laura Ingraham kick things off in the shake up as she hosts The Ingraham Angle from 7pm ET.

Next up comes Jesse Watters Primetime, which moves into the 8pm ET slot left vacant by Tucker's departure.

In an unchanged bit of planning, Sean Hannity sticks with his Hannity 9pm ET slot, while Greg Gutfeld will get underway from 10pm ET.

The last show of the night will see Trace Gallagher front FOX News @ Night, which will cover the day's major events. It will also serve as the primetime news hour for those in the Mountain and Pacific time zones.

In Suzanne's statement, she said: "FOX News Channel has been America’s destination for news and analysis for more than 21 years and we are thrilled to debut a new lineup.

"The unique perspectives of Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters, Sean Hannity, and Greg Gutfeld will ensure our viewers have access to unrivaled coverage from our best-in-class team for years to come."

The channel's decision to part ways with the controversial Tucker Carlson caused shockwaves at the time.

The anchor - who had fronted the talk show called Tucker Carlson Tonight since 2016 - then went on to share a furious rant about US media days after his dismissal.

Tucker said: "One of the first things you realise when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country."

He further described them as "kind and decent people" who "really care about what's true". The presenter added: "And a bunch of hilarious people also, a lot of those."

He continued: "The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are. They're completely irrelevant."
