Kevin Clifton has hinted he wants to expand his family with girlfriend Stacey Dooley and have a "little gang" for daughter Minnie.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional, 40, and TV personality Stacey, 36, welcomed their first child together in January following the safe arrival of daughter Minnie.
Speaking in an interview with OK!, Kevin opened up about the possibility of expanding his family and hoping Minnie could have a close bond with a younger sibling similarly to his relationship with his sister Joanne Clifton.
Joanne, who also starred on Strictly as a professional dancer for two series before heading to the West End, is two years younger than Kevin but he appreciates the strong bond he has with her.
He said: "Stacey’s already talking about Minnie needing a brother or a sister. I can see us having more kids if we’re lucky enough and it happens for us, but Minnie is a handful as it is at the moment!
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likeness"It’s the idea of them being a little gang and having each other’s backs. Me and my sister are a little gang and have each other’s backs – that’s what we’d like for Minnie."
Kevin finished as runner-up on the popular BBC One dancing competition on four occasions before finally winning the Glitterball Trophy in 2018 with his now partner Stacey.
He is also on tour playing the lead role of Scott Hastings in Strictly Ballroom, which is directed by Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Kevin added: "I’m really happy. Me and Stace are really happy and we’ve just had a baby and that’s going really well. Yeah, I’m in a very grateful place at the moment."
However, that has not always been the case for the professional dancer turned West End star after he opened up about his mental health struggles with a candid social media post last month.
On May 2, Kevin took to Instagram to share a series of throwback and current photos of his life.
In an honest post, Kevin wrote: "Don’t like to talk about it too much in public but a few years ago i wasn’t always doin as well as I always tried to make out.
"Today I’m celebrating the most wonderful past 5 yrs."
The dancer shared a photo of him looking unfocused as well as a photo of a piece of paper that read: "Just remember five years ago, you dreamed about where are you now."
