Joe Alwyn has been spotted at his first public event since he was left "slighted and distraught" by his split from Taylor Swift.
The couple split in early April after six years together, just weeks before Taylor reportedly moved on to a budding romance with Matty Healy.
Joe was said to be unhappy with his ex-girlfriend's new romance, but is "doing his best to keep busy" and has now decided to make an appearance at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
The British actor, 32, enjoyed a dinner hosted by Celine artistic director Hedi Slimane and decided to go for a rather suave look.
Joe decided to wear a black suit which he paired with a pale pink satin shirt and white top.

His appearance at the star-studded event marks his first public outing since splitting with the Anti-Hero hitmaker.
The pair are said to have called time on their romance after the relationship had simply "ran its course."
"The bottom line for the difficulties in their relationship was that Taylor's career took priority over Joe's – which can be awkward for a couple when it's not balanced.
"This drove them apart and ultimately, they both realised they were not on the same page anymore."
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the source said Joe had been finding it hard trying to become a leading main star while dating one of the world's most famous women.
However, another source has claimed he is deeply unhappy by how quickly Taylor moved on.
"Joe feels slighted and is distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself.
The source told the publication that Joe was aware Taylor and Matty were collaborating on music and that she had told him they had become friends.
The source denied there had been an "overlap" between Taylor's two romances.
