Amy Childs has shared details of the scary moment her newborn son suffered a prolapsed umbilical cord during the reality TV star's waters broke.
The mum-of-four, 32, was overjoyed and delighted when she gave birth to twins Billy and Amelia last month, but has since recalled the challenging labour she endured.
Amy, who is also a proud mum to Polly, five and Ritchie, four, had to undergo an emergency C-section in order to welcome her twins into the world with her partner Billy Delbosq, 40.
The former TOWIE star had a birth plan but due to baby Billy suffering a prolapsed cord, things didn't go to plan.
"It’s really rare. The midwife was amazing, she knew the cord was there," Amy remembers.
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filming"Afterwards, he was in the neonatal unit, so my Bill put me in a wheelchair to go down to the other ward to feed him – he had all wires around him."
The new mum-of-four continues to recall taking it in turns with her partner to see baby Billy in the unit - admitting it was "really sad" at the time.
But Amy is focusing on the positives these days, like enjoying cuddles with baby Billy, and explaining how everyone is "fine" now and declaring she is "very much a positive person."
Speaking to OK! magazine, Amy goes on to marvel at how her six-week-old twins "look completely different" and are both "really good babies."
The arrival of baby Billy and Millie isn't the only thing Amy has been celebrating recently.
Just days on from his future wife giving birth, Billy popped the question and asked Amy to marry him in the sweetest way last month.
As the happy couple posed for a photoshoot to promote their new reality TV show, Billy got down on one knee and asked the all important question.
Announcing the news on Instagram, newly engaged Amy shared a montage of photos from the engagement as well as a snap of their twins.
The twins' onesies read: "Mummy, will you marry my daddy?"
A delighted Amy captioned the post: "I said YES… Future Mrs Amy Delbosq," alongside a red heart emoji.
