Robbie Williams really can turn his hand to anything. He’s been in a boyband, went solo, took up modern art, is starring in his own biopic and is now taking up a career as a cartoonist.

The former Take That star, 49, has started inking doodles for a new project with a working title of Robart, or “drawing things”.

So far, they’ve received a warm reception, though some online have ticked him off for his toilet humour.

One shows a weight loss champ winning the Ozempics, named after the weight-loss injections, while two toons depict men on the toilet.

The first time Robbie ventured into art, back in 2011, he made Jackson Pollock-inspired paintings.

Last year, he exhibited his abstracts at Sotheby’s in Dubai, where one of his “childlike paintings for naughty grown-ups”, as he describes them, sold for £40,000.

So his new illustrations could prove yet another money spinner.

Still, he did venture into it with some trepidation, saying last year: “I don’t think there is a celebrity or actor who has gone into the art world without being kicked in the head. People like you being in your box.”

However so far, he has been heartened by the response. He says: “I love how my drawing things are going down,” teasing that there would be “more later in the year”.
