Christine McGuinness appeared in high spirits as she walked hand in hand with a friend at the Pride of Manchester Awards.
The former model recently enjoyed a trip abroad and ensured her social media followers were constantly updated as she shared strings of snaps from her hotel.
But following her arrival back in the UK, Christine, 35, wasted no time as she glammed up to step out on the red carpet in order to honour some of Manchester's biggest unsung heroes.
Paddy McGuinness' former wife ensured all eyes were on her as she arrived fashionably late to the event held at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel.
Speaking to the Mirror, a source inside the event said: "Christine made quite the entrance on the red carpet on the red carpet at the Pride of Manchester Awards - arriving at the very last minute with her pal.

"They were certainly enjoying a girl's night ahead of an emotional evening."
Taking to the red carpet, Christine who appeared on ITVBe's The Real Housewives of Cheshire looked sensational as she slipped into a yellow dress which cinched in at her waist, complementing her gym-honed figure.
Christine risked a major wardrobe malfunction in her backless stylish number which left very little to the imagination.
She opted to wear her signature blonde tresses in loose natural waves, cascading freely down her back as she posed for the hoards of onlookers, eager to catch a glimpse of the star.
The mum-of-three looked every inch the star as her sunkissed skin glistened under the beaming lights as she accentuated her cheekbones with a touch of contouring and a small amount of lipgloss on her plump pout.
Her outing comes after Christine broke her silence over her relationship status after explaining she was enjoying a "date night".
Ahead of an event in London, she teased that she was going on a "date" with a famous boyband star, before later clarifying it was her friend, Duncan James.
She said: "You know it's a good night when you don’t take any photos.
"Loads of you are saying 'Oh we're so happy for you' that I was on a date.
