BAFTA award-winning TV personality and rapper Big Narstie has revealed that a sudden collapse sparked a drastic weight loss journey.

The musician joined long-term SlimFast ambassador Kelly Brook for the new Oomph for your Boomph campaign, which celebrates being your best self and the power of a positive mindset.

Big Narstie and Kelly's new campaign is intended to highlight the nutritional benefits, including 23 vitamins and minerals and 14g of protein of SlimFast's daily shake.

The ‘Oomph for Your Boomph’ remix of his latest single “Work Hard Play Hard” features as the soundtrack of the campaign, shot by top grime music video producer Mathew Walker.

A 30 and 20-second TV campaign will launch on May, 14 while a 90-second full-length ‘music video’ version of the ad will also air on the SlimFast-owned social media channels to kick off the campaign.

Big Narstie told Mirror: "Eight years ago I collapsed after Celebrity Bake Off and that's when I began on my fitness journey and got into mixed martial arts."

The rapper explained that as he increased training, he had the urge to cut out alcohol and eat healthier options.

"I come from a poor background, healthy food should not be expensive and I only noticed [how expensive it was] when I started to live that way. SlimFast is not a pocket breaker and a big thing about changing your lifestyle is being able to afford it."

Kelly revealed she was thrilled to be joined by Big Narstie on the new campaign.

She said: "When they said that they found a new ambassador, I racking my brain, I was like, 'Well, who can it be?'
