Matt Healy vowed to stop his bizarre tradition of kissing fans out of respect for Taylor Swift months before rumours The 1975 singer is dating Taylor.
Matty, 34, and Taylor are said to be "madly in love" months after Taylor's split from Joe Alwyn.
It's said the Bad Blood songstress and Matt are set to make a public appearance together this weekend when TayTay performs in Nashville, Tennessee.
As rumours of the alleged romance heat up, a video of Joe vowing to quit his habit of kissing fans has resurfaced.
Robbers singer Matty has been filmed locking lips with fans during live shows in the past – including a gig in Las Vegas in November and a performance in Brighton in January, days before saying he would stop.

Clips of Matty sharing kisses with fans have gone viral on social media in the past, with on fan claiming "he tasted like red wine" after the singer "French kissed" the fan.

Speaking to the crowd in the video, Joe says: "I'm not kissing anybody in front of Taylor Swift have some respect.
"For the Queen, it's not happening," he says before looking up and giving a salute to the sky.
Later, Matty brought Taylor out on stage who asked the singer: "Is it alright if I sing?," before breaking out into a performance of her track Anti-Hero.
The Shake It Off star then performed a cover of The 1975's song The City from their self-titled album.

After the incredible show, 64-year-old Denise got the opportunity to take the snap backstage with the music icon.
She took to her Twitter page to proudly share the snap with her 552,000 followers – showing Taylor already has the seal of approval from the Loose Women star.
"Taylor with the Welch’s," she captioned the picture and added two thumbs-up emojis.

Denise rocked a pink and white striped shirt that she completed with a blue suede blazer.
Meanwhile, Taylor kept warm in a black blazer and looked stunning with a classic red lip and simple makeup.
Matty has been linked to a number of famous faces in the past including FKA Twigs, Halsey and was even linked to Taylor Swift in 2014.
Matty was pictured wearing the hitmaker's 1989 album T-shirt during a gig, to which she responded by wearing one of the 1975's tour tees.

However, it appears love is in the air for the singers now as a source close to Taylor told The Sun: "She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out.
"Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover.
"Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again."
