CELTIC EMPRESS (4.45, nap) is fancied to make a winning return to the fray in the Sky Bet Sunday Series Fillies’ Handicap at Musselburgh on Sunday.

The Heather Main-trained daughter of Golden Horn has a 20 per cent strike rate in handicaps and a British Horseracing Authority rating of 78 – 4lb above the mark from which she scored at Goodwood last August – looks within range for Josh Bryan’s mount.

Later on, MAYWAKE (6.15, nb) can land a fourth career success in the seven-furlong Sky Bet Sunday Series Handicap.

The Richard Fahey-trained chestnut gelding was a huge eye-catcher last time out at Redcar when making stealthy late headway to finish a never-nearer third behind the well-ridden The Cookstown Cafu.
