The famous rollercoaster ride 'The Big One' in Blackpool stopped mid-ride for the second time in two weeks.
Passengers on the famous and once record-breaking rollercoaster were seen making their way down in similar scenes to earlier this month.
Visitors to the Pleasure Beach were pictured walking down a massive flight of stairs to vacate the ride when the ride stopped just after 3pm on Sunday, the Manchester Evening News (MEN) reported.
A spokesperson told the new site that The Big One had closed down earlier today, but did not indicate how long it would be shut for.
Witness Cammy told the MEN: “It was only just after 3pm that we saw it had stuck.

“It was one carriage on the tracks and we could see people walking down off the ride.”
“We’ve already been to the Pleasure Beach, thankfully. My partner and her little sister went on the Big One earlier in the day.”
The ride also broke down earlier this month (Lacey Cooke/MEN Media)Earlier this month, the iconic ride halted and stopped on the lift hill during a period of bad weather. At the time, on April 11, staff members asked passengers on the ride to walk all the way back down to the ground while being guided.
The ride had to remain closed for the rest of the day.
Petrified riders had to walk down the steep slope at around 2.50pm when weather conditions suddenly changed and passengers were guided to safety.
A spokesperson for Blackpool Pleasure Beach said: "At 2.50pm on Tuesday 11th April, Blackpool Pleasure Beach stopped the Big One train on the ride’s lift hill due to sudden changes in weather conditions.
"Guests on the ride were reassured and escorted from the ride by Blackpool Pleasure Beach staff. Due to high gusts of wind the Big One rollercoaster closed for the remainder of the day."
The Big One is known for its steep drop (SWNS)The 235ft high ride was the tallest and steepest rollercoaster in the world when it was opened in 1994. It has a drop angle of 65 degrees and held that title until 1996 when Fujiyama opened in Japan.
The ride that cost around £12million to build also broke down in September and in May last year for around 20 minutes. Drone footage showed staff climbing the ride's steps in a bid to reassure passengers.
Famously sponsored by Pepsi Max until 2011, problems with the ride come as the UK was subjected to high winds earlier this month.
