Alyssa Milano has reportedly sent Britney Spears an apology message earlier this morning after being called out for an alleged "bullying" post on Twitter.

The Charmed actress, 50, was accused of taunting the Toxic hitmaker, 41, on the social media site just before Christmas, something she seemingly regrets.

At the time, distraught Britney told her 40million Instagram followers that she was "saddened" by a message written by Alyssa on her public Twitter page in 2022.

In what appeared to be a friendly message while rumours swirled of Britney's whereabouts, the Commando actress posted: "Someone please go check on Britney Spears."

TMZ claims Alyssa today sent a "private message" of apology and "expressed support for Britney in her correspondence".

It comes after Britney made her return to Instagram just a week after removing her page and told her fans she's "never felt better".

Brit had changed her name on the social media platform and also shared a video showcasing her regret at getting a tattoo while in Hawaii.
