A simple summer dress can make you feel ready for the sunshine as if you're enjoying a sunny beach day in Tenerife, even if April showers are still ruining the hot weather vibes.

Summer dresses, however, tend to be fickle things dominated by that year's trends - often too short, too long, low cut or backless, sometimes the perfect comfortable dress can feel impossible to find.

Tesco shoppers think the search for the ideal summer dress is now over as a new release from the supermarket has wowed fans for it's timeless design and even better - it has functioning pockets.

F&F Clothing, owned by Tesco, shared the bright green midaxi length dress on Instagram and shoppers quickly got excited before realising the dress isn't available online.

"Gorgeous greens to start your week with a bang. Dress, £15," shared Tesco in the caption.

The green dress was an instant hit with shoppers pointing out it comes in a variety of colours, as one customer shared she "got it in the pink" adding it was "so flattering".

Another shopper said they had it in black and they "love it". A third said: "This is a cute shade of green, love it."

In the post, which has over 700 likes, the tiered and sleeveless frock is styled with a minimalist pair of sandals. Thanks to the model's posing, it's clear to see the dress has pockets - a common complaint with women's clothing.

Despite the mass of compliments for the frock, others pointed out that it is not available to order online and have delivered so customers are having to hunt around for the popular design.

The dress can only be purchased in store, leaving a lot of customers unhappy as that relies on stock levels, whether their size is in, and if their local Tesco carries clothing at all.

Customers are usually able to order F&F clothes through Next's website, thanks to a deal with Tesco, but some items aren't stocked and unfortunately this popular dress is one of them.

One customer said: "It would nice if the new stock or more stock comes to the next website please," while another pleaded: "Please start selling online again".

F&F is available at over 600 stores across the country so it's worth popping to your local store to see if the green frock is there.

You can order a limited number of styles from Next.co.uk but buying clothes this way means you miss out on Tesco Clubcard points - and you can't even grab this £15 steal.
