New mum Molly-Mae Hague has bravely shared her breastfeeding woes as she continues to get to grips with being a first-time mum.
The former Love Island star, 23, who welcomed her baby girl Bambi with boyfriend Tommy Fury on January 23, took to Instagram to reveal that she has been having some trouble expressing her milk supply as she continues on her breastfeeding journey.
Molly-Mae has been showered with praise for being so open, honest, and raw about her motherhood experience so far, and her latest confession about feeling disheartened due to the fact she was unable to supply baby Bambi with breast milk, has reaped even more praise from her fans and other new mums alike.
On Friday, Molly-Mae took to her stories to ask other new mums for advise on tips to keep her breast milk supply up as she explained that Bambi was left 'starving' because she was unable to produce even a droplet on milk the day before.
As a result, Molly and Tommy decided to give their newborn formula instead.
Baby boy has spent his life in hospital as doctors are 'scared' to discharge him"Had a super low supply yesterday, literally couldn't get a single droplet of milk from me. So, for the first time, we had to give Bambi some formula because she just wasn't sleeping from being starving/ not getting enough breast milk as my body couldn't provide it," Molly explained.
"I think it's from being so exhausted. It was a really crap moment for me but I'm REALLY determined to not give up, hopefully it was just a bad day. I have just managed 4oz in one pump so that's really perked me up," the new mum added.
Following her honest confession, Molly-Mae has been showered with praise on Twitter.
"Molly-Mae is just so real. You see some new celeb mums giving off this really unrealistic idea of motherhood, but she is so raw and it's so so so lovely to see," one fan gushed.
"Molly-Mae is so real for showing her breast milk on social media," another echoed.
"As a new mum myself, I cannot explain how nice it is to see someone like Molly-Mae being so completely honest about being a first-time mum. It's not easy and there are some really really hard days. I love that girl so much," someone else gushed.
While another admirer of the former Love Island star shared: "For someone so young, Molly-Mae Hague is far beyond her years. That girl has done went through an incredible transformation. I'm not even a mum but I so appreciate how raw she's being with her fans."
Molly-Mae and Tommy, who met on the ITV2 show in 2019, welcomed their baby on January 23 and shared the incredible news a week later.
Soon after, Molly-Mae took to Instagram to reveal the couple named their daughter Bambi.
