Manchester United got back to winning ways on Wednesday night by beating Premier League rivals Brentford 1-0 at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford scored the winner against the Bees, and Erik ten Hag will be hoping the prolific forward will do the business again when Everton travel to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. United are expected to beat Sean Dyche's relegation candidates.
United fans are praying their team gets over the line in the race for a top-four spot. Yet there are never any guarantees in football, especially when it comes to the business end of the season. With that in mind, here are the latest headlines from Old Trafford.
Ten Hag has confirmed he wants Rashford to sign a new long-term deal with the Red Devils. The England international, 25, is out of contract in June 2024 and enjoying the finest season of his career, with 28 goals and nine assists to his name.
Ten Hag was asked about the futures of Rashford, David de Gea, Fred and Diogo Dalot during an interview with Sky Sports. Fred, Dalot and De Gea are all coming towards the end of their respective deals, too, as the latter recently rejected an extension offer.

It is believed Luke Shaw did not suffer a serious injury during United's 1-0 win against Brentford. The England international hobbled out of Wednesday night's game, with Ten Hag telling reporters, "We have to wait 24 hours to make the right diagnosis."
Yet it appears Shaw's hamstring complaint is only minor, and the substitution was just a precaution. The left-back could even feature against Everton.

Ten Hag may have to think long and hard about signing Marcel Sabitzer on a permanent transfer after the Austria international was praised by Ian Wright. The 29-year-old joined United on loan from Bayern Munich and is set to return to his parent club in the summer.
Sabizter assisted Rashford for the winning goal against Brentford.
Wright told Premier League productions, "You have to say, Sabitzer came up with the goods. With the assist and in certain other areas, he was getting into pockets, making some nice little moves and always making himself available."
