Ken Bruce said his first Greatest Hits Radio show feels 'odd' as he started the programme with a classic Beatles track.
The 72-year-old Scottish star, who recently left the BBC, has returned to radio to play the best hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
He started his brand new show with none other than The Beatles' hit song Come Together.
On Monday, Bruce told Greatest Hits Radio listeners: “Quality music all the way… you’re going to love it.”
Speaking to BBC Breakdast ahead of the new show, he said: "It’s a fresh start, it is something a little bit different in a new place, that is always good for somebody to try something a little bit new so there I am ready to go.”

He added: “There is a certain aspect of oddness about it, yes, I look around the studio I am in and it’s not quite the same as it was.”

Ken Bruce recently said he's been "struggling to work his day out" after launching his new radio show.
He launched his new programme on Greatest Hits Radio on April 3 after leaving BBC Radio 2 last month.
He spent decades at BBC, with his show airing from 9.30am to midday for more than 30 years.
Before the new show launched, Ken told PA news agency that his new show will be "much the same" as his previous show.

"It's just going to be nice things to keep people engaged, keep people listening, and taking part in the show, it'll just be much the same as it was before just in a different place," Ken said.
Since moving to Bauer, he said he's "struggling to work my day out."
"I think I'm going to be going to bed an hour later because I just have to squeeze everything into the remaining hours of the day," Ken continued.

"Once I get my body clock, right. I think I'll be all right, but I'm really enjoying having a half-hour extra in bed every morning."
