NFL Draft star Anthony Richardson pulled off an impressive backflip after completing pro day in Florida.

Richardson, who is expected to be one of next month’s top picks, put on another show for NFL coaches, general managers and scouts, following on from a record-setting performance at the combine earlier this month. He set quarterback records at the combine for the broad jump (10 feet, 9 inches) and the vertical jump (40½ inches).

The Florida Gators ace threw at their indoor facility, showing off his arm strength and athleticism. Richardson overthrew to one receiver, who was over 70 yards away, and also launched a deep ball that hit the ceiling.

The 6ft4in quarterback from Gainesville took to the field with the intention of showcasing his accuracy, a negative narrative he wanted to put to bed. And after throwing 45 passes, showman Richardson raised his right index finger and started jogging toward midfield, before executing a perfect backflip.

"I feel like I delivered the ball pretty well today," Richardson said. "Some of them weren't as great as I wanted to be, but I feel like I threw the ball pretty well today."

Three NFL coaches were in attendance for Richardson’s spectacle. Carolina's Frank Reich, Seattle's Pete Carroll and Jacksonville's Doug Pederson were three NFL coaches in attendance, with the Panthers and Seahawks sending large contingents.

The Panthers and Seahawks did, however, do the same for fellow highly rated quarterbacks CJ Stroud (Ohio State), Bryce Young (Alabama) and Will Levis (Kentucky).

Reports say that Richardson has met individually with Las Vegas and Carolina on Wednesday, and that he has several more teams lined up in the coming days and weeks. Richardson has called himself a “workhorse”, something that is invaluable to teams.

"I'm a workhorse," said Richardson. "I'm going to work to be the greatest. I'm going to continue to work. A lot of people would say I have a lot of things to clean up, so I'm definitely going to try to clean those things up."
