An Antiques Roadshow guest was left in disbelief on Sunday night when his damaged watch was valued at thousands of pounds.
The BBC show saw Fiona Bruce and the team visit Sefton Park in Liverpool where one man brought a Rolex watch along to the show to be valued.
The Rolex watch was an Oyster Perpetual and was named The Explorer and the man was left in shock when the experts valued to scratched watch for a whopping £9,000.
Expert Richard Price told the man that the watch could have been older than him, to which he replied: "It was my stepfather's watch. He gave it to me just before he died."
After spending some time with the vintage watch, antiques expert Richard it would have been made back in 1959.

Despite the Rolex being damaged with a scratched face, the vintage timepiece was still valued at a staggering amount of money.
Revealing his valuation verdict, Richard revealed: "I reckon, that in today's market, between £7,000 and £9,000.
"It's a lovely, lovely thing to remember him by. And also, it's a fabulous watch to wear."

More treasures on the episode included a medal given to one of the first men to land on D-Day, a dress by 70s fashion designer Ossie Clark, and one of the first vials of penicillin.
It comes after another guest was left gobsmacked over the valuation of two silver spoons after an expert admitted he would usually refuse to value such items.

The expert valued the spoons at £10,000 each.
The expect revealed silver spoons are not usually valued on Antiques Roadshow because they are normally worth up to £50.
