Gwyneth Paltrow has responded to the backlash she received about her eating habits and wellness routine.
The star opened up in a clip where she talked about the effects of long Covid that she's experienced and that her diet helps with this.
She also said that she eats more than "bone broth and vegetables", contrary to popular belief.
The 50-year-old said that long Covid has caused her "very high levels of inflammation over time" and she deals with this by eating non-inflammatory foods.
Gwyneth said that her aim is to "to eat foods that will really calm the system down".

I think it's important for everybody to know that I was doing a podcast with my doctor [Dr. Will Cole]. So, this is a person who I've been working with for over two years now, um... to deal with some chronic stuff."
Gwyneth then went on to tell her followers that she had long Covid and has been coming up with ways to tackle this.
She said: "'So I've been working with Dr. Cole to really focus on foods that aren't inflammatory, right? So lots of vegetables – cooked vegetables – all kinds of protein, healthy carbs to really lower inflammation and it's been working really well."
The actress said that her diet is tailored specifically for her to meet her needs and isn't meant to be for anyone else.
"This was a transparent look at a conversation between me and my doctor. It's not meant to be advice for anybody else, it's really just what has worked for me and it's been very powerful and very positive...," she added.
To clarify what makes up her every day diet, she explained: "This is not to say that I eat this way all day every day. And by the way, I eat far more than bone broth and vegetables."
Revealing that she enjoys the occasional indulgence, Gwyneth said she sometimes treats herself to french fries.
The backlash came after Gwyneth did an interview where she talked about her usual daily routine.
