Julia Fox has addressed reports that her brother was arrested over gun and drug charges in the USA.
The 33-year-old Uncut Gems star has said she is “embarrassed” about her brother’s actions, but also said she is glad he is getting treatment.
The actress - who shot to fame last year thanks to a one month long romance with rap sensation Kanye West - broke her silence after her brother, Christopher, and her father, Thomas, were arrested earlier this month.
Taking to social media on Thursday, Julia said that her brother had been released the same night he was arrested and had no criminal involvement.
Addressing questions via TikTok, Julia didn’t turn away when one follower asked for an update on her brother and her father.

“But I will say that my brother and I have a lot of trauma and the difference is that I’m scrappy, I’m a fighter and I threw my aggression and was able to release that rage.
'He is finally going to get the help that I’ve been trying to get him for so long.”
She added: "I wish I could say more but I don’t want to damage his case or anything like that but I will say that I’m just embarrassed."
It was previously reported that Julia stumped up $450,000 (£370,000) to bail her 30-year-old brother out of jail after he was arrested earlier this month.
Police had reportedly raided a Manhattan apartment that serves as a home to Christopher and his and Julia’s father, Thomas, 62.
Reports suggested that police found ghost guns and drug-making materials.
Thomas was reportedly arrested but not charged.
According to the Daily Mail, Assistant district attorney Cyril Heron gave details of the investigation that lead to Christopher’s arrest.
He said: “Between March 2018 and December 2022, the defendant purchased at least 190 ghost gun items, totaling over $7,600, all of these items were sent to the defendant's home.

“The defendant possessed enough gun parts to assemble an assault weapon-style rifle.”
